I am having the dickens of a time creating a form that
when submitted will send the results to my email address.
I know how to design a form, however, I get the following
message after typing the my email address in the email
address field under "Where to store results" in Form
Properties: "This form is being created on a Disk-Based
Web or the FrontPage Server Extensions have not been
configured to send email. Please direct your system
administrator or ISP to the instructions in "Setting up E-
Mail Options on Windows" or "Setting Up E-Mail Options on
UNIX" in the Server Extensions Resource Kit. If you do
not have the Server Extensions Resource Kit, you can find
it at: http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk."
I tried the latter URL but it must be out of date or no
longer valid, because I get "The page cannot be found
message."
Just for the record I am using FrontPage 2002 that I
purchased at Best Buy. My hosting service Avid Hosting
which does accept FrontPage Extensions for my website.
Why am I unable to create a the form (a survey), that
when completed and when submitted directs the results to
my email address?
Can anyone help, or where can I look for assistance?
Thank you!
