How do I create a hyperlink to a bookmark in a PDF file?

Hi:
I am creating a hyperlink to a PDF file. This works. When I try to
hyperlink to a specific page or bookmark inside the PDF file, I get an error:
"Microsoft word could not open this file or could not parse a file of this
type"
I am using Word 2002. Appreciate any tips.
