HOW DO I CREATE A LEGEND IN A VISIO DRAWING

I need to create a legend for the symbols in a visio drawing and find it very
difficult using a table - any suggestions

If you're at v2003, consider opening the network and peripherals stencil. It
has a legend in it.

What kind of legend are you looking to add?

Shapes? Lines? How many shapes will be in the legend?

A good way to do this is make a box and add your legends to the diagram if
you plan on printing it. The reply above is catered to shapes in your diagram
but cant be printed nor do they have any information along with them

The Brainstorming template also has a legend shape that will work in any
drawing.
