How do I create a Log Out procedure

Darryll

I have a subweb in my site which has restricted access... I have managed to
restrict the site as described in one of the HOW TO articles, and would now
like to create a log out link that... logs out the user from the subsite as I
expect this makes the site more secure.
My entire site incl. the subsite are regular .htm pages.
Thanks for any comments or advice around my question.

If you are using pure html (and just the FP permissions for the subweb) you can not create a log out
To do what you want you need server side script to authenticate and log out a user

You can write an ActiveX control that will do this as long as your users are
on Internet Explorer.
