How do I create a menu?

I am trying to create a Toolbar and a Menu that everyone in my firm can use.
I was able to rename the normal.dot but when I try to apply the information
stored in the new normal.dot by going through the Add-in, everything is there
such as the toolbar, styles, autotext, etc., but the menu is not there. Is
there another way to apply it so I can install it on everyone's computer?

I reviewed both articles you provided (thank you very much), but those
articles only describe how to "create" a menu. It does not offer me any
information on how to create a menu and then distribute that menu, toolbars,
styles, etc. to other members in the office. I have created a menu
consisting of the firms documents and a toolbar which somewhat mirrors the
menu. I originally saved this in my normal.dot and then provided that
normal.dot to other members in the office but there have been corruption
problems with other members using the normal.dot I provided.

Customizations are best *not* stored in Normal.dot, and as you found,
copying Normal.dot to multiple systms often results in problems. Actually,
Normal.dot is somewhat system-centric, not just a generic file.
