How do I create a new category in Visio

I have a template that I want to create a category for. I have seen this done
before where if you go into create>new drawing and you get a list of
categories you can have your own specific one. If this is not possible, how
do I add my template to another category?

In Visio 2003 you are encouraged to use the Visio Publishing Tool (part of
the downloadle Visio SDK). This modifies the Windows Installer database.
If you do not want to use this, then you can still use the template file
path (Tools / Options / Advanced ). The category is the sub-folder name in
which your template exists.
