How do I create a shortcut to a template in Outlook 2003?

Hi, I have a mail message .oft template that I wish to launch from *within*
Outlook. Whilst I can successfully create a shortcut to it on my desktop,
it would be nice to have it as part of the Shortcuts menu inside Outlook.

I notice there is a shortcut there to Office Update, which just loads a web
address. So is it not possible to make a shortcut to a local address, e.g.
c:\template.oft?

Thanks in advance.

Several ways you can access templates from within outlook:
1) drag the file or desktop shortcut to the shortcut bar
2) create a hyperlink on a toolbar button
3) publish the form to a folder and load it using the actions menu when in
the folder
4) copy the template to any mail folder and open it from the folder

Thanks! I had tried dragging it into the shortcuts list but got the 'no
entry' cursor. Didn't realise I had to drag it onto the My Shortcuts title.
Works now thanks.
