How do I create a third web without work going into another?

I have two webs created for two different websites. I am trying to create
a third but all my work is ending up in myweb and I lose myweb3. I was able
to publish the third website homepage and thought I had it figured but when I
went to open myweb3 it was gone and the index page I created for it was in
myweb! What am I doing wrong or not doing correctly? Pete

You need to create a new web.
File > New > One page web site, enter a name for the web and click OK

This will create a new web in its own separate folder.
You can than add pages and content as you desire.

Each web site should have its own specific / individual main folder, ( known as the "root"
folder )

Steve,
I did that and published again. I closed FrontPage and when I reopened it
the folder was not listed under My Webs. The only ones there were the
previous two I mentioned. Pete

Open My Webs in FP, create a folder for the new web, then right click this folder and select to
convert it to a site / web.

I created the folder as you suggested but when I right clicked I did not
have that option offered. I have FP 2002. The folder remained in my webs,
though, so I'm going to try putting a web page in it and see what happens.

In Windows Explorer, does the My Web folder have a blue globe on it? If yes, then once you have open
My Webs in FP, any subwebs should also appear with a blue globe.

Cannot add a page to the new folder and the index page from Steve's

easiest way to make a new web is just make a folder somewhere (anywhere you
want, "My Documents", desktop, C:/, wherever).
next open FrontPage and hit file/ open web. browse to and open that folder
you just made as if it were a web.
FrontPage will tell you that it needs to add files, etc. Let it and it's
automatically made into a subweb/ web.
You can't go wrong. ;-)

Chris,
That was the charm that worked. Thank you for saving this almost bald man
from ripping out the remainder of his hair! Thank you, too, for all the other
suggestions offered to help solve my problem. They were much appreciated and
all were tried. Thanks to all who donate their time to help the novices like
me. You are the best. Pete
