Out of Office Assistant is only available if you connect to an Exchange
server as it is a server-side operation.
To emulate the Out of Office Assistant, you can use rules wizard. You will
need to have Outlook open at all times and you will need to either leave
your broadband on or schedule dial-up for send/receive.
See the MSKB for articles on how to do this since you do not indicate your
version of Outlook. Use the keywords "emulate out of office assitant" for
your version of Outlook.
