How do I create an inset in a visio diagram?

I am creating a diagram in visio, and one of my boxes contains a great deal
more information than the other boxes in my diagram. So for appearance, I
would like to keep the main boxes all the same size, and create an inset
(like on a map) off to the side of the main boxes that would highlight the
additional information that box needs to contain.

Can anyone help me?

Have you considered putting the details on a 2nd page and then creating a
hyperlink to jump to the new page?

If you just want a blown up section on the same page, make a temporary copy,
draw a rectangle around the area you want, Shapes > Operations > Fragment.
Delete everything outside of rectangle. Select the rectangle and everything
in it and group. Right click, Format > Protection > click aspect ratio,
then, Format > Behavior > click Group Only. Now you can size the area as you
need. The two Format steps are just safety precautions and not really
necessary.

Oops. Forgot to say you need to select everything before you do the fragment
-- the rectangle and everything that it encompasses.
