How do I create hyperlink without pressing CTRL key

Christine

I need to create a hyperlink to a website. I am required to do this without
using the CTRL key. It should link to the wegsite so the by clicking on the
word it takes the reader directly to the website

This sounds like a homework question, which we try to avoid doing for you --
the whole point of the exercise is for you to learn how to find out things.
Have you tried looking in the program's Help for the topic "create a
hyperlink"?

I have to hope that no homework question would be so awkwardly stated,
though.

Well, first of all, the Ctrl key has nothing to do with *creating*
hyperlinks, just following them. And there is no way to create a hyperlink
such that users don't have to press Ctrl to follow it because this is a
machine-specific setting (Tools | Options | Edit).
