how do i create relative links in word so i can upload to web server?

martski

I'm creating web pages in word v. X for MacOS X and have a set of them
that I'm trying to cross-link. (you know: previous page, next page,
first page, last page type of things).
I can successfully create the links using the Hyperlink action, but I
don't know how to make them work in a "relative" way so that when I
upload it all it'll still link properly.

Please help!

Thanks.

Hi

Within a single document Word will handle everything for you if you use the
Save As Web Page feature.

If you want to link several documents, the htm files need to be in the exact
same folder when you create the hyperlinks. So you'll have to save
additional Word documents as web pages all into the same folder before you
create the links then re-save. Then upload the whole folder with the htms
and the additional folders Word will create.
