Can I cronologically sort the names of U.S Presidents with their years in
office in Word under the Table columns? It seem sorting can only be done by
alphabetically not numerically.

Use Find & Replace to convert " (" and "-" to tabs, then convert text to
table (which will put the start date into its own column), sort on that
column, then reverse the process. Or just do it manually, with select and
drag. The list isn't all that long anyway.

The years should be in it's own seperate column, then when you click on
Table, Sort, you can change it from text to date and tell it to sort the Date
column by date. But the dates need to be in their own column.
