How do I custom compress pictures in Picture Manager?

I am trying to compress the size of picutres to make a slide show. I am
using microsoft picture manager to crop and otherwise edit the photos. There
are options to compress for a document, website or email, but all options
compress to a size that is smaller than what I want. Is there a way to
compress the photos to a custom size using Microsoft Office Picture Manager?
