How do I customize the data in an Access table linked with Outlook

Sim Soul

I created a linked Outlook's calendar table on Access, but when I enter tha
data in the "calender" table (in Access) I cant change the data types, and
the calendar table propably has a composite key that includes the "subject"
field, cauze when I want to enter a subject in the 'subject' field, it gives
me a message " field 'subject' is based on an expression and cannot be
edited", so How will I be able to give a subject to an appointment through
the linked Calendar Access table and find it updated on the Calender in
Outlook?, and How will I be able to remove the unwanted fields in the same
linked "calendar" Access table?

Thanks

It's just as if you were linking to a table in another database: The field
definitions in that database control the data types. You can't change them.

If you want to delve deeper into the table definition exposed in the linked
table through the ISAM provider, see
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/database.htm but good luck. I've never been able
to do much with it.

If you want to change values in Outlook items, you're usually better off
doing it by direct automation than through a linked table.
