How do I deactivate an Office 2003 license for reassignment to an.

I want to upgrade a PC from Office 2003 to Office 2007 and then install the
Office 2003 on a different PC. How do I deactivate the Office 2003 license
prior to installing on a different PC?

If you are upgrading to Office 2007 using the upgrade version,
you cannot remove Office 2003 since it served as the basis
for the Office 2007 upgrade license. Thus, you cannot reuse
the Office 2003 license.

I am not using an update version - it is full install of Office 2007. It
will be installed on a brand new PC - the old PC with Office 2003 will have
the hard drive scratched and given away and the full version of Office 2003
will be installed on a PC that we are retaining.

All you do is uninstall the program, then reinstall it on the other
computer. You may have to use the phone activation when you do so.
