How do i defragment Outlook when the disk defragmentor refuses to?

My boss's laptop has a HUGE file that we have archived and when I go to
defragment the HD using the standard windows defragmentor the program says it
was unable to defragment both the archive file and the outlook file. Is
there a way i can defragment the file or an add on i can get to defrag it?

The Windows defragmenter is not always able to defragement files,
especially if there is not much free disk space left.

A professional defragger such as Diskeeper (http://www.diskeeper.com/)
can do much more. You can download a 30 days trial version to see if
this resolves your problem. There is also an older Diskeeper "lite"
(free) version available from
