how do I delete a program from the "open" pane?

In "Power Point 2003" the "open" pane lists power point programs. How do I
delete a program from this pane?

Hi

Do you mean the recently opened file list in the getting started taskpane
and on the file menu? If you want none to show ever, change the setting in
Tools -> Options -> General -> make "Recently Used Files List" 0. If you
mean you don't want the particular list you have at the moment, simply open
other files until the recently used file list is to your liking
