How do I delete a template in OneNote?

I created a template in one note but but now I want to change it. But after
I make the new one I want to name it the same template name as the old one.
but it is still in the list. so first I have to get it out. Otherwise it
just puts multiple ones in there with the same name and there's no way to
tell which one is which. But I can't figure out how to get the old one out.

Go to "view" menu, click on "task pane"

The box at the right is the task pane. At the very top is a title, a filled
down arrow, and an "x" to close. Click on the down arrow.

Choose "templates"

Find the template you want to delete. Right click and "delete".

You can only delete templates that you created, you can't deleted the
default ones.
