How do I delete a website once it is published?

I'm using Publisher 2003 and want to try uploading what I have to the web
temporarily and then remove it. Yes, I've used the preview feature, but I
want to make sure I can make this happen with my ISP. If not, I want to work
on that issue while I'm trying to finish the website. Thanks!

You can do this several ways. Once you choose a method to upload your site,
you will have access to your site files and can delete them. You will also
have some sort of file manager on your website, where you can delete the
files. Your caution is timely however.

If you are using a form on your site you will want to only use HTTP
uploading protocol, so before you try uploading, read about the different
methods, and about forms. And you might want to stick with HTTP anyway if
you have that option as you are less likely to make the mistake of not
uploading the index.htm file and the supporting folder:
