How do I delete an email address from AutoComplete suggestions?

On 10/18/2005 Russ Valentine answered Dave B's question about how to remove
an old (outdated) email address from the AutoComplete suggested email
addresses presented to the user when filling in the "To" field of a new email
message. Russ's answer explained how to remove the suggested name from the
selection list for the email being composed. However, it didn't seem to
answer how to PERMANENTLY delete the old email address so it never surfaces
as a suggested choice in the future--which is my question. Or did I
misinterpret Russ's answer?
