How do I delete blank lines in Word?

If the "blank lines" are empty paragraphs, you can select and delete them
(display nonprinting characters to make this easier). If the space is
created by Spacing Before/After (Format | Paragraph), then you need to
remove that.

Press Ctrl+Shift+8 to display nonprinting marks. If your blank lines
consist of empty paragraph marks (¶), then you can use Find and
Replace:

1. On the Edit menu, click Replace.

2. Find what: ^p^p
Replace with: ^p

3. Click Replace All.
