How do I delete recurring/automatic a Outlook Contact Folder on my desktop?
Whenever I view a outlook email an Outlook Contact Folder is automatically
generated on my desktop that I cannot delete either by dragging it to the
recycle bin or choosing "delete" from the drop down menue.

That's your antivirus or -spam scanner creating that folder, not Outlook.
Uninstall your AV program and reinstall without the mail scanning feature.
You will be just as safe.
