How do I delete something without having to select Yes/No

I am currently designing worksheets for my learners.

I have a problem though. I cannot delete anything without answering the same
question everytime.

Delete Block? No/Yes

This question appears on the status bar and it really irretates me as I have
never had this problem with Office 2003.

Is there a way for me to disable this feature?
