How do I delete the default footer in a printed message?

I get a footer whenever I print an email message, which contains my name and
the current date. When I look at page set-up under Memo style and
header/footer there is no information listed. I assume it is coming from the
default footer and is picking up the information from my default email
account but I can't find a way to prevent it from printing the footer. Does
anyone know how to get rid of this footer?
