Using Outlook 2003, Can I create an agent or macro to detach 1 file and
record the file path name within the original email? My company has a 50M
restriction on total Outlook file capacity. I receive lots of attached files
and I keep the detached file on my C:drive. I then copy & paste the file
path name into the original email. eventually I archive the email. Should i
need to go back the original email, ( it happened several times last year) -
I have the spreadsheet or power point file that was orignally attached.
I am looking for an automated way to do this. "Save Attachments" only gets
half the work done. The second half - path name retrieval is what takes the
time.
