how do I direct incoming emails to a specific folder?

I would like to direct incoming emails from people in my address book to a
specific folder I have creasted ie: a personal email from a friend in my
address book to my Personal folder etc?

set up a rule - look on the tools menu for rules wizard or rules and alerts.
If you need help creating rules, we'll need to know which version of outlook
you have.

Have you taken a look at the Rules Wizard (on the Tools menu)? What you
describe is one of its purposes
