How do I disable auto update?

I have an application that uses Access 2000 Runtime (EROL
e-commerce store) and also have Office XP Pro installed on
my PC. Unfortunately, when office auto updates, this
affects Access Runtime so my application throws up error
messages, requiring a re-install of Access Runtime to fix
it.

How do I DISABLE auto update in Office?

Any help appreciated!

Hi Wally,

I'm not sure what feature you're referring to in this case.
The http://officeupdate.com does not include an automatic notification and update service as http://windowsupdate.com and Windows
does.
If you're running a mixed version of Office (XP/2002 and 2000) then when you run a 2002 version of the app it will, to be sure it
runs properly, be configured by the MS Windows Installer, to be the 'owner' version.
