How do I disable M/S office Picture Manager.

Can someone please tell me how to disable (not delete) M/s Office Picture
Manager. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 installed & usually when I go
into the folders "My Pictures" and select a picture - it automatically goes
into the Photoshop Elements where I can edit them. I went into the Picture
Manager today and must have done something because I can't get rid of it now.
I don't want my pictures opening up into this program. Can any one give me
a hand so it goes back to the way I had it. Thank you.

Right-click an image you want to open with Photoshop, properties, opens with... click
change...

I suspect, in addition to Mary's, advice that you also need to open Picture
Manager and go to Tools, File Types and clear all the check boxes. If I
understand how Picture Manager works {could be wrong}, if you do not clear
the check boxes under Tools, File Types the next time you open Picture
Manager the program will take over the file associations again.

I sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
