How do I disable Office 2004 Test Drive on a new iMac?

Every time I try to open an office 2001 file on my new iMac, I get the message,
"The Microsoft Office 2004 Test Drive has expired," and goes on to try to
convince me to buy 2004 at over $300.
It worked fine on my old Mac G4, running in OS 9 Classic. The new G5's also
run Classic. Apple chat support did not seem to know how to disable the
message and allow files to open with a double-click like they did before. I
suspect that this message came pre-installed.

My e-mail for the old Mac G4 is (e-mail address removed). The new e-mail address
for the iMac G5 is (e-mail address removed)
