How do I disable predictive chinese character when emailing in ou.

When typing an email the word underlines as I type and then changes to the
chinese translation. How did it get there and how do I disable it?

That sounds like you have the Chinese IME installed. You can toggle
between IME languages with the Alt+Shift keys.

If you don't use the IME at all, uninstall it (the method varies
depending on your Windows version).
