How do I disable "Sign up for Microsoft Update"

E

Emmanuel

I recently deployed Office 2007 Enterprise into all of our vista machine
through GPO. After installation, the users complains that everytime they open
an office application, the "Sign up for Microsoft Update" keeps on popping
out. Using an enterprise product, I don't expect this pop up to be present
because most enterprise uses WSUS or equivalent to update there Office
applications.

I check also the Office 2007 ADM and I couldn't find any entry that could
possibly disable this annoying pop up.

Is there any solution to this?

Thanks in advance.

For Office Enterprise issues see the following. Support on this version is only
available from MS or your IT Department and we cannot help you here with the Office
Enterprise version.

The support for Office 2007 Enterprise is free and look and open

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your reply.

However, the links that you provide didn't help me at all. Would you mind
directing me to the right forum where I can ask such question?

Cheers.

In a way you did confirm my feeling about your post with your last answer

There is no forum for Office Enterprise version. You can ask the IT person at the
Company,Educational Institution or Government from where you procured your version
of Office Enterprise.
Otherwise use the telephone number that is shown for North America in the link I
provided in my previous post
