How do I disable Speech to Text Office 97 - WinXP

My son just bought a new PC with XP pre-installed - He installed Office 97
and everytime he opens any Office app, he gets a pop-up that Speech to text
will only work with a 400 processor with 128MB Ram.

the PC is a 2.4 processor with 128MB Ram

Under Control Panel, disable speech.
