How do I display contacts in first name, last name format

I find only answers for the reverse - I actually wish to have my Contacts
liste, view, displayed always as First Name, Last Name format.

Even if this shows up when I check they are always coming up Last name,
First name which I hate!

Is there a way to have this as I want, Iam using Outlook 2007 thank you!!!

Dear Russ, in Outlook 2007 when I open a Contact card, under the line that
says 'Display AS', just below 'File As' my contacts are always showing up as
Last Name, First Name format.

This of course affect when I write emails, as when I enter the first couple
of letters of a name it does not show up,as I am asking the First Name(whihc
I always do) but Outlook works on Last Name so what I want is never there;
meaning I have to open up a new window and find my contact in this way to be
added to the recipient list, or cc list.

My question is how do I display my Contacts as First Name, Last Name format
always, all the time, anyway I call them up and without changing this any
longer until I live?

Looking in help I foound answers for the reverse, however no one seems to
have this problem why?

Can you help?

Thank you!

That's the email address book order. Go to tools, email accounts, address
book tab. Select Outlook address book and click change. Your options are
First last or File As format.

You can use VBA to make the display name uniform for all contacts. See
