how do I display numbers as superscript in an Excel graph?

I have formatted the cell where excel gets legend info as text. My
superscript number is not displayed as superscript in the legend. How do I
fix this?

You need to use superscript chiropractors. When I type cm² the 2 is not type
from the keyboard and then formatted, rather I hold the ALT key and on the
number pad type 0178. Similarly, 0179 gives cm³.

The fonts in Office 2007 (Calibri and Cambria) have characters for the other
digits which are accessible from the Insert Symbol dialog

compared to the new MS fonts in that the ANSI codes for 0 thru 9 are

Hi,

You can make a dummy legend and format it to superscript as needed.
1. Remove the border from the current legend
2. In the Series name box enter spacebar in 2003 or ="" in 2007 this remove
the default text.
3. Create a text box with the necessary series names for your legends.
4. Select the portion of the text that you want superscripted and use the
Format command and apply super script to the selected portion of the text.
5. Position the textbox relative to the legend keys.
6. Insert a rectangle and set the interior color to none.
7. Place this around the legend as needed.
