How do I display relative dates in the task pad view?

Create a view that uses a filter... use words like today and next week for
the dates. You may need to use the Advanced tab on the filter dialog.
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2008/20080103.htm will get you pointed
in the right direction - the task pad in older versions is similar. The site
also has a lot of tips for creating custom view filters.
