How do I display the data for a maximum record in a group footer?

I have created a database for a surplus sale. In my report, I am trying to
include the bidder information in the group footer who has the maximum bid
for each lot. My report is grouped by lot number.

I like brief questions; but in your case one doesn't know what is needed.

The information you wish to add to the Report - probably needs to appear in
the field list for this report when in design view.

If it does not - then you may wish to base the Report on a query - - and
manipulate the query to include all of your existing info plus the new info
you need...

This is one way to approach it. But you may need to explain where the data
is residing for others to help.
