I am using Outlook 2000 SP3. I have a sub-folder in Deleted Items for Junk
Mail. I also have othere sub-folders there to organize messages that I am
finished with. Occaisionally I permanently delete messages from Deleted
Items. They don't go to my Recycle Bin, where do they go? Is there a way to
delete from my Junk Mail sub-folder directly without having to move the junk
to the main Deleted Items folder, hunt them down, then delete them
permanently?

When you delete a message in the Deleted Items folder they will be gone
forever. Using SHIFT+DELETE will allow you to skip the Deleted Items folder.

The space they occupied in the message store is marked for reuse with no way
to reference that space.

Since Outlook 2000 doesn't have a "Junk Mail" folder (unless the user
manually adds one, and then it's just an ordinary folder, no different than
any other mail folder), the best way I can think of is to open the folder,
select everything with CTRL-A and press Shift-Delete.
