How do I do a conditional count?

I want to do something like Count([Q6]=1) where I want to count all answers
to question 6 where option =1 . Can I do this? If so how do I write it in the
control source for a text box in a report? Any help is appreciated!

It might be possible. But it's impossible to say, or provide any suggestions
without knowing more about the project. Starting with the application the
questions and answers are in, and in which application the report is.
