Hi, Soumyadeep,

This page has some links to patch deployment strategies and articles for
Office 2000. Without knowing more details about your environment it's
difficult to offer advice, so you may want to have a look throught those
resources to see what option(s) might meet the needs of your specific
environment:

Hello Susan,
Thank you for your reply. From the http://deploy.editme.com/patches you can
only go to some Microsoft webpages that tells you a lot but not specifically
answers my question (before posting this question I have been there). I just
need to know the right command or switches to do a silent installation of the
Office 2000 service packs. For Example: To install Office 2000 sr1, my codes
for the batch file is something like this: start \\[some where on the
network]\[folder name]\setup.exe /QB /C. This did work but I am having a
hard time to supress the reboot. Is there any ways you could tell me the
codes or switches to install the service pack 3 for Office 2000? Please help.

Thanks

Great! Posting a specific question gets you a more specific answer. Thank
you for providing more details.

Did you deploy Office from an administrative installation point on the
server, or via some local installation method such as a CD?

Also, if you are deploying updates to individual computers (not from an
administrative installation point), you could try extracting and deploying
it with Ohotfix.exe, and setting reboot options in the ohotfix.ini file.
See if this helps:
