How do I do links like in HTML

V

vgt

When I cut and paste a web page, I'll have links in the web page that I can
have one note follow. So, it might click click "here" (where here is
underlined), and in onenote when I click on the link it takes me to the
file/webpage. How do I enter a link like that in by hand? If I do the File:
command it shows the path. I would rather do something like "My Presentation"
(where this is underlined) rather than showing the full path.

Since I can do it by copying out of webpages, I assume there is some command
I can do in OneNote by hand to get a similar result.

Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks,

Glenn

Never mind. I just saw a similar post. Please consider this an enhancement
request. Sorry for the unwarranted traffic.

Glenn,

As far as I am aware there is no elegant way to do this.

In Word you can hit Ctrl+K and enter a URL and a display name to
create a link in Word. If you then copy and paste that link from Word
into OneNote you get a working link in OneNote.

Not elegant but it does work
