How do I do this?

"I moved my email hosting from a POP3 to an IMAP server and have quite a bit
of trouble. The remaining problems that I can't figure out are: 1. I want to
be able to have deleted emails move into a deleted folder (they currently
stay in the inbox with a line through them or are simply hidden). 2. I need
links within email to be enabled (I currently have to manually enable them
each time). 3. I no longer receive pop-ups announcing new mail, and would
like this to resume.

I am on a Compaq notebook with XP and MS Outlook 2003.

Also, I am having trouble properly synchronizing my Treo 650 with my Outlook
account.

Thanks,

Dan

You can't expect the same function with IMAP as you do with POP3. One of the
advantages of IMAP for shared use is that it leaves deleted email in the
folder so others can access it. You need to Purge your folder to remove
them.
Q 3 is also function of IMAP.
