How do I download a new font onto publisher?

I am trying to design a logo, but the font I want to use is not available on
Publisher. I have downloaded some new fonts from a free site, but how do I
then use them ? Thanks

You have to install them. Go to your Fonts folder one of the drop downs will
have Install Font as a choice

In addition to what Rob said about installing the fonts, if you are working
on a web publication go to format > font and uncheck the "show only web
fonts".

Use web fonts elsewhere in your publication as a general rule.
