How do I download all online templates?

When creating a new document, powerpoint, DB, worksheet, etc., I generally
look through the online templates to see whether's there's something that
gives me a good starting point.

I'd really like to download the who template collection so that I have them
available when I'm not online.

Is there a way to do this?

Secondly, if I do so, is there a way to identify recently added or updated
templates so I can refresh my collection periodically?

Unlike clipart, templates can be downloaded one at a time. Personally I don't
see the benefit having numerous templates cluttering up my hard drive. The
Office programs come with many templates that can be adapted to any occasion or
project.
