How do I download and install Office SP3 when the update program .

On trying to update Office 2000 Pro with SP3, the program asks for the
Data1.msi location. Office was installed from CD and the update program will
not recognize the .msi file on the CD. Installation fails.

Hi, Letterman,

Do you by any chance have MS Works Suite or another Office 2000 family
product
listed in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel? If so, you may
also need those CDs, which can contain their own Data1.MSI files.
