How do I download Service Pack 3 if my dial connection disconnect.

How do I download service pack 3 if my dial up connection disconnects after 2
hours, and the download is over 3 hours, and it does not continue where it
left off.

I had the exact same problem. I was within 30 minutes of a 3 hour download
and my modem disconnected. Why isn't there the ability to begin where the
download was last at? My Apple Mac is able to continue where it left off. Why
doesn't Microsoft do this? I don't want to send for a CD. I want it via a
download. There HAS to be a way to continue a download after a disconnection.
Not being able to do so is so ARCHAIC!!!

Get one of the 72 million free download managers from
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=free+download+manager&btnG=Search
and use it to download the file(s) from the Microsoft website.
Or use a web browser (such as Netscape) that has a download
manager built in. If you get disconnected in the midst of a
download, the download manager will resume the download at the
point where you were disconnected, instead of starting over at
the beginning.
