How do I download service pack 3 it is always unsuccesful.

I am using Office 2001 and would like to udate by downloading service pack 3
, but it is always unsuccesful. I have tried several times, with my disc and
without, with full down load or the short version, but same result,
unsuccesful. May be I should have downloaded service pack 1 and 2 which I
have not done so in the past.

I am using office 2000 and I tried to update with the same results. My
problem is that it is asking for the CD, when i insert the office 2000 pro
CD, it tells me the file data1.msi is not on my disk and to insert the disk
that has it. All I have is the original OEM disk that i installed it with. Is
that your problem too?

If it is asking for Front Page then you need to put in the 3\3 Office inst
CD providing that you have it. It is part of the Office 2000 Professional or
a Stand Alone version
