How do I draw a clock face?

Ruth

Trying to draw a clock face without hands on - so that I can put the time to
whatever I want to. There's nothing in clip art or auto shapes that I can
see. I've tried word art, but the numbers won't line up properly once you
get them in a circle. Any ideas?

I've tried that - not all clipart is able to be ungrouped and these tend to
be the ones with numbers!

Probably not the best program for drawing purposes, but one other thought...

Draw a circle, then create a separate text box for each number formatted to
No Fill & No Line positioned on the circle. Select & Group the whole thing
when done.

I did a google images search and found a number of images that are exactly
what you want. You can right click and save them as a image file.

Certainly you need to be aware of copyright limitations -- but if you are
using them within your family and not using them in a publication or
something like that I would think it would be okay (then again -- I'm not an
attorney).

Here are a few I found:

http://ksnn.larc.nasa.gov/images/Time_A.gif

http://www.scrap-a-latte.net/store/image.php?type=T&id=27048

Depending on what you need this for.... you might find these sights helpful
as well.

Good luck!

If you are going to do it yourself take a look at www.drawingwithword.com and
find your way to Lets Draw and look at the 'pie slice' and 'dartboard'
examples to give you an idea how to set up the guideline divisions accurately
then do as Bob says and position your numbers accordingly
