How do I draw a freehand (curver) line?

I need to draw a curvy line. Everything seems to want to be straight lines.

Make sure the drawing toolbar is visible (View - Toolbar- drawing)

The squigly line next to the pencil is a free form drawing tool.

I don't see a pencil. I looked at View - Toolbars and I see:

Format Text
Format Shape
Action
Snap & Glue
Layout & Routing
View
Web
Developer
Stencil

In Visio 2000, look on the Standard toolbar. There are several drawing
tools here for lines and rectangles and the like. You should see a little
triangle widget on the right side of these icons that you can click to get
even more drawing tools. The freehand tool is under one of these.
Unfortunately, I don't have a Visio 2000 to look at to be more specific.
