How do I draw a simple shape such as square, circle in Onenote?

Is it possible in One note to draw regular shapes, enter some text in the
shapes, connect them like a flow chart; should I draw them using other tools
such as Word, Power Point or Visio and then import them into OneNote?

You'll need to draw them in something else and copy them to OneNote. The
current version of OneNote doesn't include drawing tools.

I guess if you have an extraordinarily steady hand you could do it in
digital ink.
